NURSE MANAGER – HELEN KJESTRUP
Masterton Medical runs so successfully because it operates as a team and the nurses are an integral part of this team. Helen Kjestrup is manager of this dynamic group of nurses.
Helen initially trained in Masterton before heading overseas for 10 years.
During that time, Helen was a practice nurse in the United Kingdom, nursed in various parts of Africa, and specialised in the high dependency unit for neo natals as an FPA practitioner.
Helen returned to New Zealand for her children.
“It’s great for children to grow up here as it’s an island paradise that offers a wonderful lifestyle without the price tag,” says Helen.
