MMH Historical data and removal process
When we moved from Manage My Health (MMH) to Vensa, no data was transferred between the two systems.
Vensa connects you directly to the records held in our clinical system. This was a key part of why we chose to switch.
This left your historical data at MMH intact.
As a practice, we did not have the ability to delete data from your MMH account.
MMH accounts can contain information from multiple providers (for example, other practices or specialists you may have visited), so only the account holder or MMH themselves can remove or close an account and only MMH can delete data.
Given the current MMH data breach if you would like to delete this historical data, you have two options depending on what you’d prefer:
1. You no longer want your Manage My Health account or any data stored there.
You can log in to MMH and use the “Close Account” option. This will permanently delete the entire account and all associated data. Before you do this, please double‑check whether there is anything stored in MMH that isn’t visible in Vensa and that you may wish to keep.
2. You want to keep your Manage My Health account but remove the medical records stored there.
In this case, you would need to contact Manage My Health directly and request that they delete the clinical data while leaving your account active.
As per MMH recommendations, we recommend you change your password and enable two factor authentication.
Be extra cautious with emails received.
