October Update
INTRODUCING:
We welcome Dr Helen Clayson to the team at the end of the month. Helen comes from the UK but has family here in NZ and has settled in Gladstone.
WAITING TIMES:
We continue to encourage our Doctors to keep to time as we appreciate our patients are busy people too. Unfortunately sometimes emergencies happen and this can affect waiting times. Please be aware that an appointment is 15 minutes. If you have a number of issues to discuss with the Doctor you are welcome to request a longer appointment time. We do have Doctors that are very particular about keeping to time so if you are running late, please phone us and we will do our best to reschedule you at a time that suits.
WAIRARAPA AFTER HOURS:
This is an Urgent Care Service covering weekends and public holidays. While it is run from our building and some of our staff work for the service, it was set up by all the Wairarapa GP’s and is run by all the Medical Centres in the Wairarapa providing staff on a rostered basis. Masterton Medical services are not available at these times. The payment policy for Wairarapa After Hours is for payment prior to consultation.
